Aiko is pursuing a Master's in Public Health at Northwestern University and has joined NDoula as an academic intern.

She has spent 5 years with the Mothers and Babies team at Northwestern researching a perinatal depression prevention intervention. She is a trained birth doula who is passionate about birth justice and evidence-based care.
