Empowering communities and transforming healthcare

Creating a Chicago where healing, justice, and equitable care are accessible to all who need it.

How we’re making a difference

NDoula Community Alliance aims to improve healthcare access and support for those hardest hit by the Black Maternal Health Crisis. Our team focuses on holistic health literacy, reproductive justice, and building strong support networks that center autonomy, joy, and healing. Together, we’re reshaping care to make birth and healthcare a source of empowerment, not fear.

Stay ready with patient-centred skill prep

Everything we do is rooted in community care and collective empowerment. Take a moment to fill out this short survey to expand the ways we think about our healthcare

Based on data from Black & BILPOC community respondents thru October 2025, these top priorities increase our experience of patient-centered care:

- Access to a provider that reflects my identity and culture

- A trustworthy therapeutic relationship

- Patient well-being is valued above threat of professional liability
